WEDDINGS - HOW TO BOOK
The process of making a booking is relatively simple and involves filling out and posting a booking form with your deposit.
However, I would strongly recommend that you do not book any wedding photographer until:-
1. - You have met them in person and feel happy and relaxed with the individual.
2. - You have seen and judged not only their best work, but examples of complete weddings.
3. - You have discussed all your needs with them and you feel confident they can deliver on every requirement.
I like to meet the couple at least once before the wedding. It is as important for me as it is for the couple that we know and understand each other's needs. It gives me the opportunity to show more of my work and determine their requirements and preferences. It also allows the couple to ask me questions to satisfy themselves that I can provide the service they are looking for. I normally give them a booking form to take away, so they can make any final decision in their own home without any pressure from me.
A countersigned copy of the booking form is returned to the customer as confirmation of their booking and as a receipt for their deposit. To be absolutely fair, for any dates on which I have multiple enquiries, the first booking form received with deposit will secure the day.
Finally, I make sure the couple tell all their family and friends that I am always delighted to receive requests for shots they want on the day. They just need to tap me on my shoulder and tell me who or what they want taken, it's all part of the service.
"Everyone commented on how professional, friendly and fun you were"
